The design for your addition or remodel is a critical component to
your project success. Knowing how important your design is,
we utilize a 5-step process to help insure we set the proper
budget, maximize the value for your home improvements, and
complete the project in a timely manner.
Step 1: Complimentary Consultation
Every remodeling project starts in your head and your heart.
In the first step, a project consultant will meet with you to
conduct a thorough evaluation of your remodeling project. We
want to understand the entire scope of the project, including the
reasons behind your desire to remodel or add on to your home.
This ensures we can make the proper recommendations during the
project development phase. This step is normally one to two
meetings.
1) Establish your design preferences and needs through a needs
assessment questionnaire.
2) Evaluate the project feasibility
3) Review potential design options and clarify the scope of work.
4) Collaborate with you to determine the investment range.
5) Review our detailed Design/Build process
6) Present the background and services offered by Committed
Companies, LLC.
7) Place your order for project development (Project Development
Agreement).

4) Custom design a solution just for you.
Step 3: Preliminary Design Presentation
Our design team meets with you and your custom design comes to
life. Design plans are refined and revised to meet your
needs, tastes, and budget. This step normally requires 1-2
meetings.
1) Review your computer-generated, 3-D drawings (preliminary floor
plans and design perspectives).
2) Evaluate design options and benefits
3) Identify major product options and benefits (cabinetry and
counters, appliances, windows and doors, and flooring.)
4) Discuss minor design alterations and revise.
5) Review the project scope and budget.
6) Approve the preliminary design.
Step 4: Final Design Development
The project consultant will work with you to finalize the
details of your project. This step normally requires 1-2

selections.
